These are insects from the British countryside: butterflies and dragonflies as you might expect, but also less conventionally beautiful ones such as the Rose Chafer, which I love for its jewel-like iridescent armour. The paintings are in oil and gold leaf on 10cm square box canvas, and cost £200, with free postage in the UK. I have also made larger paintings in the same style.
